Marina Hills was established nearly forty years ago. As our community continues to age, we face the growing challenge of maintaining and improving the infrastructure, amenities, and property values that make this such a great place to live. With over 40 years of experience as a licensed contractor and business owner, I believe my background is a perfect fit for this next chapter of Marina Hills. I know how to manage complex projects, budgets, and timelines—and how to deliver quality results that last.

 

Fourteen years ago, my wife Krista and I chose Marina Hills as the place to build our life together. From the beginning, we’ve been proud to call this community our home and today, I’m running for the Board to help ensure Marina Hills continues to thrive for years to come.

 

The past year has brought change and renewed homeowner involvement. The last election showed that residents want progress and practical results. I share that vision and I’ve been working hard to make it happen.

 

As Chair of the Community Operations Committee, I’ve spent the past several months learning how our community really works. I’ve been onsite regularly overseeing maintenance work orders, reducing costs, serving as a liaison between the contractor and the Board during the fountain reconstruction project, and helping install three new dog-walking stations. I also helped facilitate communication to ensure a smooth transition between the previous and current office managers.

 

My Priorities

• Fiscal Responsibility & Efficiency Continue: identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring our resources are used wisely without compromising quality or safety.

• Infrastructure Planning & Maintenance:  Our community’s aging infrastructure requires foresight and skilled oversight. I’ll apply my construction expertise to guide responsible, long-term planning and improvements.

• Constructive Communication & Homeowner Feedback:  Homeowner input is vital. While meetings can sometimes be challenging, I’ll ensure that homeowner questions and feedback are reviewed, taken seriously, and receive timely responses to close the loop of communication.

I believe Marina Hills deserves leadership that listens, works collaboratively, and delivers results. I’m not a big talker or a politician, I prefer rolling up my sleeves and getting things done. I’ve shown my commitment by being hands-on and engaged and I’m ready to continue that service on the Board.
