ALREADY WORKING FOR YOU

A documented record of service, leadership, and results for our community.  All my time and expertise have been donated to our community.

As Co-Chair of the Community Operations Committee, I have:

  • Served on the Committee since its formation in September 2025, working to understand our community’s infrastructure, identify what is functioning well, and flag areas needing attention.

  • Applied my construction industry experience to help secure and submit additional insurance documentation for the fountain, working directly with the HOA’s attorney to support potential reimbursement beyond funds already received.

  • Facilitated ongoing communication between the fountain construction team and the HOA Board to keep the project moving efficiently and control costs.

  • Reviewed work orders to identify duplicate charges and ensure only necessary work was approved.

  • Developed a long-term solution for deteriorating wrought iron fencing by researching a high-quality aluminum alternative and vetting qualified installers.

  • Addressed infrastructure maintenance issues, including repairs to rusted and failing electrical boxes.

  • When one electrical box became an urgent safety issue, I donated my time, expertise, and materials and personally poured the cement base to secure it. (See photo.)

  • Removed rust and repainted fencing at the end of Killini. (See photos.)

  • Installed three new dog waste stations for the community.

  • Facilitated communication between the outgoing office manager (Vicki) and incoming office manager (Alex) to support a smooth transition.

  • Worked with the Christmas lighting vendor to secure lighting for the four palm trees at the fountain at no additional cost to the community.

  • Coordinated the hanging of Christmas wreaths, working with Loretta to locate and retrieve the existing wreaths from storage.

As the Amarante Delegate, I have:

  • Kept neighbors informed about Board meetings and community updates

  • Met with residents to listen to concerns and bring them to the appropriate committee or the Board

  • Worked with Elizabeth Pearson to organize and complete a community food drive during the government shutdown, helping ensure families in need were supported.

  • Helped a neighbor resolve a city permit issue caused by an unclear ARC approval language, preventing a delay in much desired home improvements
